BPM stands for Beats Per Minute.
Pardon me, but this is my initial post. I'm testing out this Google blog thing. Right now my BPM is sub 90. Think "Got Til it's Gone" by janet (89).
DJ's use BPM to program their sets. Professional audio equipment has features that let you view and control the tempo of a song. I use my mixer to see the bpm when I preview songs and take notes.
This digital age is making it harder to keep up with these notes. I don't have a laptop loaded with all my music, categorized and such. I have a couple of pioneer pro cd players and three Technics 1200s. I have two huge racks of vinyl that needs to be categorized and converted (or vice versa) to CD. And a bunch of CDs that I carry around in three large CD cases.
pardon my ramblings, but like I said, this is an initial post.
testing.
testing 1 - 2 - 3...
